The Recruiter will manage City Wide’s hiring needs by attracting, screening, and selecting new employees for Sales, Operations, and Administrative roles. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for creating and executing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews and managing the hiring process from start to finish. This person will implement processes and procedures to effectively recruit, on-board, and maintain documentation for candidates and employees. The Recruiter works closely with the Executive Leadership Team to keep them updated on the status of candidates and new hires. This position may also be responsible for other office administrative and sales activities.
Essential functions
· Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates.
· Review resumes and applications to screen for job fit and qualifications.
· Send candidates online assessments to complete prior to the phone interview.
· Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and fit with company culture and core values.
· Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other team members.
· Communicate with candidate throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and feedback.
· Manage all recruiting activities, such as: online postings, e-mail advertising, career fairs, networking events, and social media activities to ensure a consistent flow of new candidates.
· Develop job postings for open positions and post to various job boards.
· Create new ways to find good candidates and be willing to conduct a targeted recruiting approach to candidates who may not be actively looking for new employment.
· Enter and maintain candidate records in City Wide applicant tracking system.
· Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
· Recruit on all levels of the company in most cost-effective ways.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruiting.
· Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· High School Diploma
· Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
· Prior recruiting or similar experience
· A self-starter with attention to detail and follow-up
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
· Proficient with using social media to promote/recruit
