8 am to 5 pm

The successful candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower extremities.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with various podiatric needs, including injuries, infections, chronic conditions, and deformities.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat a variety of podiatric conditions, including but not limited to, foot and ankle injuries, infections, diabetic foot issues, and other chronic conditions.
Perform routine foot care, including nail trimming, corn and callus removal, and treatment of foot-related dermatological conditions.
Prescribe medications, orthotics, physical therapy, or surgical interventions as needed.
Provide patient education on foot care, injury prevention, and managing chronic conditions.
Perform minor outpatient procedures such as ingrown toenail removal, wart removal, and wound care.
Utilize diagnostic tools, including X-rays, MRI, and lab tests, to assess patient conditions.
Analyze patient histories and physical exams to develop effective treatment plans.
Work closely with general practitioners, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other specialists to provide integrated care.
Coordinate care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes or arthritis

Qualifications:

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of a residency program in podiatric medicine and surgery.
Active and unrestricted podiatry license in the state of Maryland
Board certification or eligibility in Podiatry.
