Responsibilities :

* Prepare and proofread legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
* Manage case files and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
* Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings with clients and court personnel.
* Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
* Draft correspondence and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
* Assist in billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to legal ethical standards.
* Utilize legal management software and tools for case tracking and documentation.
* Stay updated on legal procedures, terminology, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications :

* Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role preferred.
* Strong understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
