Job Description
The Public Health Nurse works under the supervision of the Deputy Project Manager in conjunction with the healthcare team, physicians, and government agencies to prevent healthcare associated infections. The Public Health Nurse must be able to interpret data, to plan, implement, evaluate, and disseminate outcome-based care. The Public Health Nurse will assist with investigation and systematically analyze healthcare associated infection data and provide mitigation training to nursing staff. The Public Health Nurse will evaluate, implement, and document all appropriate quality control and quality assurance measures in alignment with CDC standards and company policy.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Public Health, preferably in a remote setting.
- Completion of Public Health Nurse Course OR Certification in Infection Control [CIC] preferred or strong background in the field of Infectious Disease Control in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Experience Preferred:
- Experience on a military site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Education Required:
- Nursing Degree, preferably BSN.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Other Special Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance to drive company vehicles.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
- This position is unaccompanied.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
- Ability to obtain a DOS mandated clearance one is required.
- Must be able to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
- A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
