Job Description

We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our firm. You'll leverage your legal knowledge and administrative skills to handle a variety of tasks, from legal research and document management to client communication and calendar management.

What You'll Do:

Conduct legal research to support attorneys in case preparation.
Organize and maintain legal documents, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proper filing.
Act as a point of contact for clients, answering inquiries and relaying messages.
Manage attorneys' calendars, schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings.
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and depositions.
Input and update data in case management software, legal databases, and spreadsheets.
Organize and maintain physical and digital files.
Assist with tracking billable hours and expenses, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
Support new client intake procedures.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and/or completion of a recognized paralegal program (preferred).
Previous experience in a legal or administrative role.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in legal software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures a plus.
