We are a top real estate team in the area and we are looking for a Leasing Agent. The ideal candidate will excel in working with property owners to find lessors and determine their needs, wants and economic feasibility. The Leasing Agent will market properties utilizing social media and websites and set up showings and open houses. You’ll be responsible for responding to all questions and inquiries in a friendly and timely manner, implementing office standards to streamline our processes, scheduling appointments, listing properties for rental through print and digital mediums, maintaining resident files, and attending move-in inspections for tenants. This position will require a real estate license. If you are not licensed, we will support you through the process of getting certified. • Verify all rental applications and personal references are true and accurate
• Prepare for market changes by researching local rates and calculating costs to ensure competitive and fair pricing
• Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties
• Arrange for any required maintenance and periodically inspect properties to ensure our level of company standards are being upheld
• Work with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits in order to close the deal

Qualifications:

• A proven record of sales experience and success
• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher
• Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
