Neptune Nursery in Palm City is looking for an assistant manager who has experience working in the nursery business. This individual must have plant knowledge.

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities: positive personality, hard-worker, provides great customer service, self-starter, retains information, completes assigned tasks in a timely manner, team player, flexible, exhibits great management skills, good with sales, and reliable. The assistant manager must also be able to multi-task.
 
Some of the assistant manager's duties include:

• Knowledge of the sod, plants, palms, mulch and materials we sell.
• Creating/assisting with the agenda for employees for the week.
• Organizing/running the office (e.g., answering calls, assisting customers with plants, rocks, pottery, taking deliveries, managing orders, drivers, plant material, ordering materials for the nursery, keeping offices clean, etc.).
• Help manage the nursery team in the office.
• Creating schedules.
• Posting on social media.
• Miscellaneous duties.

Skills Required: 

• Able to use a register, computer, WORD, Google Docs, iPhone, and count money.
• Being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
• Horticulture Degree/Knowledge (knows their plants and palms etc)

Monday-Friday the hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday the hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sundays the hours are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 (depending on experience).
