Position Overview: The Appliance Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and quality of our products through expert repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance services. This position requires a versatile individual who is adept in handling both technical challenges and customer service responsibilities. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for service calls, responsible for documenting issues, and fostering communication between manufacturing, customers, and third-party partners to enhance appliance quality and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot issues with our wood, gas, and electric ovens and related appliances, ensuring high-quality workmanship and reliability.
• Manage the service call phone line, providing exceptional customer service, scheduling repairs, and offering technical support.
• Document service calls, repairs, and feedback to contribute to continuous product improvement.
• Work closely with manufacturing to relay customer feedback and technical issues, helping to improve product design and functionality.
• Liaise with customers and third-party partners to ensure a seamless service experience and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in appliance repair and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Appliance Service Technician, with a strong foundation in appliance repair, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of wood/gas/electric ovens or similar appliances is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Technical certification or diploma in appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, or related field is preferred.
