Scientific Consulting Hybrid Role Administrative

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation. The Ford Agency is looking for a smart and motivated Staff Assistant with a scientific background for a forward-thinking consulting group. The successful candidate will have the chance to work alongside scientists and managing directors, providing valuable administrative support, data maintenance, and communications management. This is a great administrative, logistics based position for a candidate passionate about STEM looking to commit to a role that will give them long-term options for professional development and growth.

Responsibilities Include:

• Update and maintain complex databases
• Draft and edit supporting documents for submission to national and international regulatory bodies
• Prepare written and electronic correspondence and presentations
• Oversee administrative needs, including calendar management, meeting arrangements, travel logistics, and telephone support
• Provide assistance with research projects for clients

Qualifications Include:

• BA/BS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
  • Master's degree in Chemistry or related field preferred
• 1+ years of professional experience
• Professional organization and communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, working individually or as part of a team
• Professional command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
