Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Recruiter with experience in the FinTech, Private Equity and Venture Capital sectors. We are looking for a successful recruiter who will collaborate with Human Resources and the hiring manager and the Executive Leadership team on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. To be considered an ideal candidate for this role, you need to have good interviewing and decision-making skills, and great organization and verbal skills.

You will need to have a strong working knowledge of FinTech, both financial & technical roles, SaaS sales, as well as in depth knowledge of the recruitment process. You should have a knack for seeking people out and analyzing character on the spot. Then this is the role for you. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •   Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
  • Conduct initial interviews, maintaining accurate candidate notes and rating scales. 
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the team.
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, and position requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providing candidate assessments as necessary.
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinate schedules, and any required travel arrangements.
  • Perform reference checks as need.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Manage the overall job posting, interview and selection process, ensuring all screening, and selection is done in accordance with company policies, employment laws and regulations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • FinTech and Private Equity recruiting experience a plus.
  • 5+ years of technology (SaaS) recruiting experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
