1Club is bringing the fun sport of Park Golf to Kissimmee at the beautiful Star Island Resort. Join the 1Club Team at Star Island Resort’s Vibrant New Food Truck! We're thrilled to introduce Park Golf to Kissimmee and are seeking an enthusiastic Line Cook or Short Order Cook to bring our vibrant menu of 11 delicious items to life. As a crucial part of the 1Club experience, you'll be crafting mouthwatering meals from our on-site food truck, nestled in its own lively picnic area at the resort. What is park golf ?

This is a part-time position, up to 30 hours/week. Some weekend availability is required. Starting pay is $18.50-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

We are looking for an to prepare food to our specifications and to set up stations for the menu. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our five-star customer satisfaction and food experience.

This is a part-time position. We operate Thursday - Sunday, 12:30/1:00 PM - 9:30/10PM.

Food Truck Cook Responsibilities:

These responsibilities ensure that the food truck runs smoothly and provides high-quality food and service to customers.

• Always represent 1Club at the highest levels of professionalism and customer service
• Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and standards - and correctly to customer orders!
• Keep the food truck clean and ready to operate.
• Assist the Facilities Manager with ordering and inventory.
• Always interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - they are our guests!
• Address customer questions, complaints, and requests politely and efficiently.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the food truck before and after shifts
• Work closely, professionally, and effectively with other staff members to ensure great team performance.
• Have fun, love what you do, and serve deliciousness!

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
• Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiarity with industry’s best practices
• Physically able to work in a food truck, standing for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe Food Handler certification (preferred)
• Up to 30 hours/week with some weekends required
  
  

Other Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work for any US employer. We do not sponsor.
• Valid state driver’s license
• Able to communicate (written, reading, verbal) effectively and professionally in English with staff and customers. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
