We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Legal Administrative Workflow Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC! This role will be pivotal in coordinating the workflow for a talented group of practice group secretaries. You will work in a collaborative environment, helping to create efficiencies that support both our legal teams and our clients.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:15 pm (36.25-hour work week)
Hybrid Model: During a 90-day training period, you'll work onsite five days a week. Following training, you'll enjoy a flexible schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Workflow: Manage the schedule of Legal Assistants to ensure effective in-office coverage, arranging backup support for planned and unexpected absences.
Build Relationships: Engage with the secretarial team daily to foster a trusting and supportive environment.
Monitor Workload: Continuously evaluate team workloads to maintain balance and ensure deadlines are met.
Recruitment Support: Collaborate with the Administrative Services Manager on hiring processes, including recruitment and interviewing.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with the Legal Administrative Services Manager and Director of Administration on special projects to improve service delivery and implement new systems.
Training and Development: Identify training opportunities for team members and coordinate skill development sessions with trainers and resources.
Quality Control: Monitor work quality and productivity, addressing any concerns with the Administrative Services Manager.
Onboarding: Develop onboarding schedules for new hires, oversee the integration process, and participate in orientation and mentoring.
Professional Development: Assist in identifying and implementing training programs that support team members in delivering exceptional service.
Team Meetings: Coordinate and lead team meetings to promote engagement and collaboration.
Hands-On Support: Balance workflow management with providing Legal Executive Assistant-level support to attorneys and assisting with overflow tasks when needed.
Orientation for New Attorneys: Provide orientation and continuous support for new attorneys, reinforcing protocols and processes.
Position Requirements:
Experience: At least 5 years of legal secretarial experience in a law firm or professional services setting, handling complex administrative tasks.
Leadership Skills: Previous experience in a coordinator, leadership, or supervisory role within a secretarial team is essential.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills are a must for building relationships at all levels of the organization.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.
