What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application:

This position is expected to start around January 2025 and continue through the entire Winter term (i.e. through May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Engineering Automation Software is a part of the Vehicle Engineering organization. We are responsible for developing software to accelerate product development as it pertains to building our EVs, energy products, and gigafactories. This organization takes the same principles of adding exciting technologies into our vehicles and applying that same creative mindset to vehicle design, by thinking about how technology and innovation can help improve these processes.

Design, code, and maintain web or mobile user experiencesOptimize code for performance, stability and maintainabilityWork with a cross-functional team of Hardware Engineers, Application/UI Software Engineers,QA/Validation, and Designers

What You'll Bring

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field of study with a graduation date between April 2025 - December 2025Proficiency in one or more of the following developer skills: Typescript/Javascript, CSS (SASS/SCSS),HTMLReact/React Native, Android or iOS dev experience, Node, Angular, preferredExcellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts and ability to write well-organized codeEagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams while able to work independently; detail-oriented and execution focusedGenuine curiosity and willingness to understand how our products are designed, built and how they operate

Expected Compensation

$36.06 - $50.48/hour, depending on level + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
