Immigration Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in immigration matters, providing expert legal advice, preparing necessary documentation, and advocating on behalf of clients in various legal proceedings. The Immigration Attorney will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients navigate the complexities of immigration law effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation to clients in immigration matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research on immigration laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and affidavits.
• Advocate for clients during hearings and legal proceedings related to immigration cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their issues and provide guidance throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with paralegals and senior associates to ensure all cases are handled efficiently.
• Assist clients in resolving any legal issues they encounter during the immigration process.
• Draft settlement agreements and other legal forms as necessary.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar exam and licensed to practice law.
• Proven experience in immigration law and legal proceedings.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle client issues with professionalism and empathy.
• Experience working with paralegals and managing casework.
