Faculty of Supervision and InstructionLocation: University of Notre DameOpen Date:Oct 14, 2024Deadline: Nov 22, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern TimeDescription:The Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) at the University of Notre Dame is seeking applications for a clinical faculty position at the assistant professor level in its accredited M.Ed. teacher preparation program. The ACE Teaching Fellows Program, housed in the university's trains teachers during an intensive two-year academic program to be professional educators while living in an intentional spiritual community with other ACE teachers. These teachers work in service to Catholic schools across the United States as classroom teachers of record while working towards a graduate degree and licensure.This twelve-month, permanent hire position includes responsibilities for academic year supervision, distance education courses throughout the academic year, and summer teaching in general and content-specific methods courses. The academic supervision requires travel to approximately five sites; the summer teaching occurs on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.The candidate will be appointed in the university's non-tenure clinical professor track at a rank commensurate with experience and employed within the Institute for Educational Initiatives.
