Job Description

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be instrumental in overseeing the maintenance operations at Oral Roberts University, a conservative, faith-based university in Tulsa, OK. This role requires a strong background in Facilities Management within higher education, exceptional people skills to manage a multi-generational team, and a solid understanding of managing large complex properties. You will report directly to the Director of Facilities and manage a team of 30 Maintenance Technicians across 41 buildings, including administrative and student dorms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all outside contractors and vendors
• Oversee facilities staff, including training and HR functions
• Manage financial aspects including labor, inventory, and supplies
• Perform facilities maintenance functions as required
• Communicate directly with customers
• Responsible for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Implement SDX programs, policies, and safety procedures
• Ensure operational capability of mechanical systems across multiple buildings
• Manage scheduling and workflow

Qualifications

• Must have an Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of management experience
• 2 years of work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services
• Experience in managing large complex properties and maintenance technicians in various trades
