Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, certified Virtual ESL Teacher to join our team in providing engaging, remote instruction to K-12 students. This full-time position is ideal for educators who are passionate about teaching and committed to supporting students in their learning journey, all from the comfort of your home. You will be responsible for adapting lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, leveraging technology to create a dynamic online classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach ESL to K-12 Students: Deliver engaging and personalized English as a Second Language lessons via an online platform, tailoring instruction to meet individual student needs.
Track and Assess Student Progress: Continuously monitor and evaluate students' performance, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching methods to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with School Staff and Families: Work closely with school personnel and families to ensure the academic success of students, maintaining open lines of communication and providing regular updates on progress.
Maintain Accurate Records: Keep up-to-date records of attendance, student performance, and any other necessary documentation.
Participate in Professional Development: Take part in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends and virtual teaching strategies.

Qualifications:

Certification: Valid ESL certification in Massachusetts.
Experience: Proven experience teaching ESL to K-12 students, with a strong understanding of diverse student needs.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using online teaching platforms and technology to facilitate engaging virtual lessons.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
