ESL Teacher- Manor and Arborwood 4 days weekly Reports to: Curriculum Specialist
Qualifications - Bachelor”s degree or equivalent course work preferred with teacher certification
- 3-5 years of work experience with children preferred
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse set of stakeholders towards a common goal
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Work in collaboration with the Administration to ensure positive communication and inclusion of English Learner students
- Work in collaboration with the Administration to maintain systems to ensure a positive school climate for English Learners in the school community
- Work in collaboration with Classroom Teachers to provide literacy support for students at school and home
- Membership on the District English Learner Committee
- Coordinate the school's efforts in gathering data around achievement of English Learners especially in the area of literacy
- Research new programs and developments regarding English Learners
- Maintain confidentiality of student records
- All other responsibilities as assigned by the Administrator
