Responsibilities

  • Work closely with writers, designers, and other team members to improve content quality and coherence, verify distinctions, timing, and organization of content
  • Maintain consistency of the content, style, tone and voice, ensuring it meets the company’s guidelines
  • Proofread, edit, and ensure quality of various types of content including manuals, leader guides, slide decks and other supporting materials
  • Ensure text is free of grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors
  • Synchronize content between slides and manuals
  • Collaborate with team members regarding strategic priorities
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years’ previous experience in editing or writing is preferred but not required
  • Internships, student publications, or freelance editing experience is beneficial
  • Exceptional grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in editing
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
