Salesforce Business Analyst - Remote (need to be in New York metro region)

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with Salesforce expertise to drive business analysis efforts across multiple applications. This role involves gathering business requirements, analyzing system impacts, and collaborating with project teams to deliver new capabilities and improvements. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure systems align with business needs while ensuring seamless implementation of new functionalities, enhancements, and fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with teams across the organization to evaluate current workflows, systems, and areas for improvement. Capture and define business needs for new or improved processes, user interfaces, and experiences through a variety of methods such as workshops, interviews, surveys, and documentation sessions.

• Vendor & Team Collaboration: Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to communicate project needs and identify suitable solutions, while advising on industry best practices.

• Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation of current and future states, including functional specifications, user stories, wireframes, interface designs, and workflow diagrams, for diverse audiences, from C-level executives to technical teams.

• Collaboration with Development Teams: Coordinate with onshore/offshore IT development and QA teams to ensure proper system testing, as well as facilitate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Team Guidance: Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members, review their work, and offer constructive input.

• Other Duties: Carry out additional tasks as assigned to support business initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience capturing and documenting B2B customer-focused requirements, with a keen eye on improving customer experiences and providing operational insights.
• Proficiency in business process design, workflow analysis, and requirements modeling (functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, etc.).
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud is a plus.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, and integration documentation between enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of Digital User Interface and User Experience best practices.
• Experience with multiple data sources, ERPs, and tools for visual modeling, such as Google Suite and Lucid Charts.
• Excellent ability to influence cross-functional teams, manage multiple initiatives, and prioritize effectively.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems analysis and design, with a successful track record of managing medium to large-scale implementations.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is preferred.

Rate: $75-80/hr. W2
