View ITD services here . The ITD Applications & Customer Support Division is the catalyst for continued digital transformation and technology innovation. The Division is in search of GIS Analysts experienced in spatial technologies and the administration of geodatabases to join the Enterprise Applications Team. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including supporting the County's ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Online users. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a team environment, knowledgeable of spatial data management best practices and techniques, and experienced in the use and maintenance of applications, data and technology infrastructure of Esri's ArcGIS Suite and related tools. The Eligible List established by this recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies on a regular full-time, part-time, or temporary basis. This classification is part of a flexible series. Incumbents appointed at the lower level of the career series may be promoted up to the higher level of the career series subject to their meeting the employment standards for the higher class and a recommendation for their promotion by the appointing authority.Will have a proven track record demonstrating the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Any combination of training, education, and/or experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities and required conditions of employment is qualifying. An example of a way these requirements might be acquired is:
Possession of a bachelor's year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geography or a related field from an accredited four-year university; or four (4) years of technical engineering, drafting, and/or cartographic experience; or two (2) years of experience performing work equivalent to an IT Support Specialist in the County of Monterey.
